Encourage your children to ask family, friends and neighbors to sponsor them, then get reading! Record the number of pages they read each day of the read-a-thon February 1-12. Pledge envelopes will be delivered in January 27 Wednesday folders. The money students raise provides new books to area children who need them most. Want to pay with a credit card? Grandma live out of town? Individual students can receive credit for pledges made on line…just be sure supporters include Doss Elementary, the child’s teacher and grade along with the student’s name. www.bookspring.org
