Walking Wednesday
The weather is beginning to cooperate. It’s time to get out and walk those kids to school! Wednesday, February 3 is our next Walking Wednesday. Walk, bike, or skate to or from school that day. Invite some kids from the neighborhood to join you. The more, the merrier!
Green Kids
Each month, the Green Team honors a Doss kid who is making little (or big!) changes to be greener. Please let us know about why a child in your life should be next month’s Green Kid. Perhaps your child has started a campaign to turn off lights or conserve water in your house. Maybe he is walking more. Maybe she and her friends volunteered to pick up litter at a park or playground. If so, tell Kelly Rizk (kelly.rizk@gmail.com) or announce your nomination on our Facebook page! And then look for an announcement on our web site and in the Hoot. We’re very proud of our Green Kids!
