Partners in Education (PIE) began in 1983 as a partnership between the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce and the Austin Independent School District. Our goal is to help AISD students gain academic skills and the self-confidence necessary to become successful learners and reach their fullest potential through donations from businesses across the country.

We have many programs that need financial support. These include:
- Sponsoring spring adult party, to be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010
- Sponsoring other Doss areas and programs, including the library, landscaping, technology, communications, track & field day, cultural heritage festival, and the Doss endowment fund
- Donating gift certificates for one of our events
- Donating silent auction items for our spring party
- Mentoring students
- Judging science fair and/or the reflections art program
- Hosting a Doss Night Out (if you are a restaurant owner) and donating a portion of the proceeds from that night
If you are a Doss parent or supporter who has an opportunity to secure a gift from a business partner, please contact Megan Helmbrecht or fill out the following Donor Information Sheet as soon as a gift is received. Forms may be returned to the PTA office or emailed to meganhelmbrecht@yahoo.com.
