With an auditorium full of giggles, Herman Parish helped our Doss Owls understand how words and phrases can have many different meanings. First and second graders found great humor in understanding how mix-ups can occur when we interpret each other too literally.
Herman Parish, nephew of Peggy Parish, has been carrying on the misadventures of Amelia Bedelia for years, adding 27 books to the series. Doss was extremely fortunate to have Mr. Parish visit at the beginning of his latest book tour.
