Doss has been named one of Austin’s Healthiest Schools! On Friday, September 13, Principal Steenport and Coach Mosby accepted this award on behalf of our school and community at a ceremony in Austin City Hall. We’re so proud of our staff and students for promoting healthy living here at Doss!

It is a GREAT day at Doss Elementary!  The Texas Education Agency (TEA) released its preliminary results from last year’s state assessments and Doss Elementary made major improvements. Our campus earned an overall performance rating of an A. This week we welcomed our new assistant principal, Hannah Wankel.  Ms. Wankel served as a special education teacher at Widen Elementary here in AISD and is a native of Illinois.  If you see her around campus, please introduce yourself and welcome her to our wonderful school!
