Good morning Doss Families-
This past week, there were student holidays recognizing Rosh Hashanah. Rosh Hashanah is the celebration of the Jewish New Year. Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown on the eve of Tishrei 1 and ends after nightfall on Tishrei 2. That means this year Rosh Hashanah began at sundown on October 2nd and ended at nightfall on October 4th. Happy Rosh Hashanah to those that celebrate!
October is here and this week we invite all to participate in Walk & Roll to School Day on Wednesday, October 9th. This safety project is a citywide effort for youth walking and rolling to school, a movement to improve health by encouraging physical activity. So join me in walking or rolling to Doss on October 9th. Details found HERE.
Friday, October 11th is Parent Principal Coffee we will Ms. Perez will give an update on middle timelines and we have a guest speaker from Safe Alliance joining us to discuss Expect Respect, focusing on child safety.
