Good morning Doss Families – 

Today, we say goodbye to March, hello to April, and the last 8 weeks of this school year. April starts the big push for registration for the upcoming school year. Everyone MUST re-enroll every year. New this year is the Enroll Austin platform, which can be found in the parent portal or on the Austin ISD website. This is the new enrollment system. April is International and National Autism Acceptance Month. Autism refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech, and communication. In honor of Autism Acceptance Month, families, community members, and staff are invited to attend a three-part virtual learning series hosted by VELA. The flyer is HERE.

Our district values your feedback! We are surveying Austin ISD families to gain insight into your perception of our school and district effectiveness. We need your feedback to ensure we continue to provide high-quality, rigorous learning experiences that meet our learners’ needs and prepare them for college and careers.

We have partnered with Panorama Education to administer these surveys to conduct our 2024 Family Survey. Panorama safeguards your privacy, keeping your responses confidential. The survey shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to complete and will be a valuable source of information for us as we work to make our schools and district as good as they can be.

You may complete the survey online between March 25th and April 12th using a

computer, tablet, or smartphone by visiting the website surveys.panoramaed.com/austinisd/family.  We thank you in advance for your thoughtful responses.
